Sounds of the Season

The Secretary of State would like to welcome grades K-12 choir groups to the Arkansas State Capitol.

SOUNDS OF THE SEASON WILL GO LIVE OCTOBER 1st AT 8:00AM.

The two-week event will commence on the first Monday following the Capitol Lighting Ceremony.

PERFORMANCE INFORMATION:

• Only two groups per-director.
• Groups have 15 minutes of performance time.
• Group size, minimum of 5 with a max of 75 students on the risers at one time.

 

MUSIC:

• A piano and sound system will be provided for your performance.
• Instruments of any kind are not allowed for this event.

 

PHOTOS & LIVE STREAMING:

A Capitol photographer will take pictures of your group during the performance. Pictures will be available a week or so after your performance on our Flickr account.

Arkansas TV will broadcast live each choir’s performance.

 

We cannot guarantee there will be an audience for your group’s performance. The audience will comprise of chaperones and loved ones your group brings.
