For New Businesses:
Effective March 15th at 8:00am, the Arkansas Secretary of State will begin collecting franchise taxes for all companies registered with the State of Arkansas. Please allow us extra time as we go through this transition with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration as they will discontinue franchise tax collections on Friday, March 12th. Due to the transition of Franchise taxes from DFA to SOS, Secretary of State John Thurston has waived the penality and interest on 2021 franchise taxes until July 15th.
NOTICE: FOR ALL INITIAL FILINGS
An incorporator/organizer and AT LEAST ONE OFFICER are required. This is due to our efforts to ensure proper record keeping and franchise tax liability.
