Yes. Since notaries are not generally concerned with the content of the document, you may notarize a document in a foreign language. However, your acknowledgment statement must be in English. As a reminder, if the document will later need an Apostille or Certification, it will need to be translated to English before the Office of the Secretary of State can process the request.
