During the Candidate Filing Period:
• Party pledges, if any, and affidavits of eligibility shall be filed, any filing fees of a political party, if any, shall be paid, and party certificates shall be issued by the party during regular office hours during the filing period. A party certificate and the political practices pledge shall be filed with the county clerk or the Secretary of State, as the case may be, during regular office hours during the party filing period. • A new political party candidate nominated by convention shall file a political practices pledge during the party filing period. A.C.A. § 7-7-205(c)(3)
• Independent candidate to file petitions, a political practices pledge, an affidavit of eligibility, and a notice of candidacy. A.C.A. § 7-7-103(a)(1)
• The period for paying fees and filing political practice pledges for nonpartisan offices shall begin at 3:00 p.m. on the first day of the party filing period.
