Behind the Scenes

The Arkansas State Capitol Virtual Tour Website was constructed by Jeremy Kratz and Dubby Junyor, both EAST Lab scholars at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, from September of 2001 until May of 2002.

The website was created using Macromedia Dreamweaver Ultradev 4, Macromedia Flash 5, and Adobe Photoshop 6. The panoramic images were achieved using a tripod-mounted digital still camera, MGI Photovista, and Panavue Image Assembler.

The Virtual Tour Project was recognized at the 2002 EAST Partnership Conference where it won the "Outstanding College Project" award for UALR.

This tour is only a part of what you can experience at the Capitol in Little Rock. Changing exhibits, 40 acres of grounds that include nine historical monuments and markers, hundreds of beautiful plants, flowers, and trees....all of this awaits visitors.
