Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
Located on the south lawn, this memorial is dedicated to Arkansas officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. It was dedicated on October 23, 1994.
The inscription reads:
We Will Remember Them
When time has passed as the family grieves
We will remember each one of these
Our fallen heroes named on this wall
God’s chosen ones who gave their all
We will remember the sacrifice made
When at last, at rest they are laid
Lest we forget their names one day
When they are gone and passed away
We name them here side by side
Brothers and sisters as when they died
We will remember the badge they wore
When it’s put away forevermore
And all the names we’ve etched here
Will be remembered through the tears
Yes, we will remember the names on this wall
For their memory will live …
in the hearts of all
