(LITTLE ROCK, AR)—The 2008 State Capitol ornament is available for purchase online and in the Capitol Gift Shop along with a variety of one-of-a-kind gifts with ties to the Natural State and the Arkansas State Capitol.
Located in the first floor rotunda of the State Capitol, the Capitol Gift Shop offers a unique assortment of items both originating from and about the state of Arkansas, including hand-turned wooden bowls, Aromatique products, books, State Capitol souvenirs, and the collectible ornaments which highlight a different State Capitol subject each year.
The 2008 State Capitol ornament features the bronze doors under the Arkansas Capitol’s east portico which have served as the building’s signature entrance since 1911. The doors were designed by architect Cass Gilbert and fabricated by the famed Tiffany Studios of New York.
