State Capitol Holiday Performances Scheduled for Dec. 3-14

Secretary of State Charlie Daniels has invited schools, churches, and business groups from around the state to perform at the Capitol this holiday season. Over 150 school choirs and dance troupes will fill the Capitol’s bedecked halls with seasonal sounds for the next two weeks.
A traditional part of the Capitol’s annual holiday festivities, choral and dance performances are held in the second floor rotunda December 3rd through 15th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays.
The most current schedule of performances, as well as group photos, can be found on Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.ar.gov/holidays2007.
The Capitol building will hold special holiday hours through New Year’s Day from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends to allow visitors extra time to take in the sights and sounds of the season.
