Sec. Daniels Encourages AR Nonprofits to File Annual Report by Aug. 1 Deadline

LITTLE ROCK, AR— Arkansas Secretary of State Charlie Daniels today reminded Arkansas nonprofits to file an annual report with the Secretary of State’s Business and Commercial Services (BCS) Division by the August 1 deadline.
Act 569 of 2007 requires all nonprofit corporations to file an annual report with the Secretary of State’s office. The report must include 1) name of the corporation, 2) corporation’s jurisdiction, 3) name and address of the corporation’s registered agent, 4) address of the corporation’s principal office, 5) names of the corporation’s principal officers and 6) names and addresses of the corporation’s directors. There is no fee associated with this filing.
The nonprofit annual report form can now be completed online at
www.sos.ar.gov.
“My office strives to keep accurate and up-to-date records of all our state’s business entities while providing convenient reporting options for them,” said Secretary Daniels. “I encourage all the state’s nonprofits to take a couple of minutes to fill out the online annual report by the August 1 deadline.”
The form may also be returned in person to the BCS office located in the Victory Building in Little Rock at 1401 W. Capitol, Suite 250, or by mail to the following address: Secretary of State, 256 State Capitol Building, Little Rock, AR 72201 . BCS is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. For additional information, call BCS at (888) 233-0325.
